Threw out 13 of 20 runners attempting to steal in Padific Coast Conference games. ... Batted .336 on the season while hitting .344 in Pacific Coast Conference games. ... Second on the club with 5 sacrifice flies. ... Doubled to drive in 2 runs to highlight a 6-run fourth inning Feb. 20 that ignited a 19-2 win over College of the Siskiyous. ... Had a single and sacrifice fly in a 5-1 victory over Imperial Valley on March 5, and vs. Grossmont on March 6. ... Contributed a double, a sacrifice fly and a walk in a 10-1 win over San Diego Mesa on March 9. ... Drove in the tying run with an eighth-inning single, setting the stage for Danny Flannery's game-winning RBI single 2 batters later, in a 7-5 road victory over San Diego City College on March 11. Went 2-for-3 with a double, 2 RBIs and a walk April 8 in a 6-4 loss to Southern California's No. 2-ranked team, Golden West. ... Went 3-for-5 with a home run in a 15-0 win over San Diego City College on April 13. ... Marked his 19th birthday April 15 by going 3-for-5 with 2 doubles and 2 RBIs in a game with San Diego City College. ... Wemt 2-for-5 in a 5-2 win over Pacific Coast Conference champion Southwestern on April 24. ... Drove in a pair of runs with a single and a sacxrifice fly as the Comets took over second place by beating Grossmont 7-1 on May 1. ... Went 2-for-5 with an RBI in the Comets' regular-season finale, an 11-3 victory at San Diego Mesa that wrapped up second place. Postseason — Went 2-for-5 with a home run in the Comets' 8-7 loss to El Camino College in the opening game of the Southern California Regionals. His leadoff HR in the second inning gave Palomar a lead it held until the bottom of the eighth.

HIGH SCHOOL: Second-team All-North County and runner-up in the Duke Snider Home Run Derby as a senior at Rancho Buena Vista High School under coach Steve Hargrave in 2003. ... Was Longhorns' 2002 Defnsive Player of the Year on a squad that won the Palomar League championship and the CIF-San Diego Section Division I title. ... Batted .320 as a senior.
