Has one sister, Heather, 21, a world-class swimmer, 2002-2003 NCAA 200 freestyle champion representing Auburn University and Silver Medalist in the event in the World University Games. ... His father was a baseball and football teammate at San Jose State of Randy Johnson, a Palomar alumnus, former starting third baseman for the Atlanta Braves and current Assistant to the General Manager of the Oakland A's. ...
