2004 SEASON: Was a part-time starter at second base for the Comets. ... Also saw duty at designated hitter. ... Went 2-for-5 and tripled to drive in a run Feb. 7 against Santa Ana, the No. 1-ranked team in the State in the preseason. ... Went 2-for-4 with a sacrifice bunt and an RBI March 9 in a 10-1 win over San Diego Mesa. ... Doubled and scored a run off San Diego City College pitching ace and New York Yankees draft choice Carleton Hargrove on March 13. ... Went 2-for-4 and drove in 2 runs in a 9-6 victory at Grossmont on March 27. ... Went 2-for-7 with a double and a walk in a 16-inning loss to San Diego Mesa on April 3. ... Singled to drive in the winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning as the Comets defeated Orange Coast 4-3 on April 6. ... Went 2-for-5 with a triple and 2 RBIs in a 15-0 win over San Diego City College on April 13.
