Doubled in all 4 of Palomar's games for the week ending March 22, helping the Comets go 4-0 for the week to stretch their lead over second-place San Diego Mesa to 3 1/2 games. ... Went 3-for-4 with a double on April 3 as the Comets beat Southwestern 12-9 to open up a 4-game lead in the conference race. ... Went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI in an 8-3 win over Glendale on April 16. ... Made two spectacular defensive plays as the Comets won two of three games against the Vaqueros, the team that eliminated them from the 2002 State Community College Tournament's Southern California Regionals. ... Went 6-for-10 during the next-to-last week of the regular season. Was 3-for-6 as the Comets clinched the conference championship with an 18-5 road victory over San Diego Mesa on April 24.
