regular season and finished with a .308 average
for 65 at-bats with 5 doubles and 17 RBI's. Was
the Comets' starting catcher when Sean Richardson
played center field. ... Played a big role in a
come-from-behind, 16-14 victory over Cochise
Community College of Douglas, Ariz., on Feb. 1,
going 3-for-5 with a double that helped highlight
the Comets' 7-run sixth inning. ... Banged out a
2 hits and drove in 4 runs as Palomar's 11-run
eighth inning against Golden West on Feb. 20.
...Went 2-for-5 with a pair of doubles and 2 RBIs
to help the Comets beat Imperial Valley 18-0 on
March 20. ... Was 2-for-4 with 2 RBIs in a 6-3
victory over San Diego City College on March 21.
... Went 2-for-3 with a double March 29 vs. San
Diego City College. ... Doubled to drive in
coming off the bench April 26 as the Comets

SCHOOL: Played
for coach Dave Barrett at Oceanside High. ... Was
team MVP on the varsity as a sophomore and batted
.333 as a senior with one home run and 15 RBIs.
... Helped the Pirates to the CIF-San Diego
Section Division II championship game. ... Also
batted .290 as a sophomore with four homers and
18 RBIs and .280 as a junior with three homers
and 17 RBIs.
