How do I...
Login to my FrontPage Web?
Start
FrontPage and choose
File > Open Web. It is very important that you choose "Open Web," and not
simply "Open."
You will see a dialog box like the following:

Be sure the "My Network Places" is selected. (Depending on your version of
Windows, this might say something like "Network Neighborhood").
The first time in, you must type the web address, including the "http://" part,
in the "web name" area. (Again, depending on operating system,
this might appear as "folder name.") On subsequent times in, you will see the name
of your web in the center of this dialog box. All you will need to do then is to
click the name and click "Open."
After you click Open, you will be challenged for a password. Depending on your
operating system, you will see a 2-field login box or a 3-field login box. If
you see the 2-field box, like this:

precede your username with the domain name you use at Palomar College:
pccd_stf_dom01\.
Be sure to use a backslash after the domain name (\) not a forward slash (/).
In the password box, type your normal Palomar password.
If you see a 3-field login box, the first will be for your username (without the
domain name or the backslash prefixed to it); the second for your password; and the third for your
domain name: palomar.
Important Note: If you have a
problem with your Palomar College network account, contact the Information
Services help desk at 760-744-1150 extension 2140 (email:
helpdesk@palomar.edu). While
Academic Technology maintains web sites, authoring permissions on your web are
based on your overall College account, maintained by the IS department. If
your account is locked, or if you have forgotten your password, contact them.
If you have any other connectivity problems, or web authoring problems, contact
Chris Norcross (cnorcross@palomar.edu)
at extension 3225.

account.

Note that this
video was made prior to the IS department converting over all accounts
to the new Palomar domain. The old domain was named
pccd_stf_dom01. |
