Training
Since we administer the
technical aspects of the
online college, we train on all aspects of Blackboard, the courseware
management system most instructors use to teach online.
We also provide training for
faculty and staff on Microsoft, Adobe, Multimedia and Web
Development products.

Academic Technology focuses on faculty training, but both
faculty and staff can
sign-up for the classes, including
all classes listed in the AT training schedule, at the
Professional Development web site.
Note: If you do not sign-up for one of our classes with
the PD office, please
contact Academic Technology to let us know which
classes you will be attending. If you do not, we cannot contact you
if a class is cancelled, rescheduled, or relocated.
New Classrooms & Labs.
Unless otherwise noted in the AT
Training schedule, our workshops are offered on the ground floor of the
San Marcos campus library, in rooms LL-104, LL-109 or LL-111.
Thanks to the Foundation and the President's Associates,
these areas have been re-equipped, remodeled, and
stocked with new computers.
