FrontPage Training
The
standard web development tool at Palomar College is Microsoft FrontPage.
Academic Technology administers a number of web servers, all of which have
the FrontPage server extensions installed. We
offer a 2-part training series on Microsoft FrontPage:
- FrontPage 1
- "Two Hours to Your Own Web Site" - Introduction to web site creation and management. In the
course of the class each student creates a personal web page and is
introduced to the concepts of growing the page into a site and
managing the site.
- FrontPage 2
- "Tables, Page Layout & Interactive Forms"
- Tables are the single
most important design and presentation tool on the web. This
class examines how to create and control tables, and how to use
tables for page layout. In addition, FrontPage makes it easy
to gather information from the web using interactive forms.
This class describes how.
Chris Norcross will be
conducting the training this Fall as follows:
- Monday, 9/12, FrontPage 1
- Monday, 9/19, FrontPage 2
- Tuesday, 11/1, FrontPage 1
- Tuesday, 11/8, FrontPage 2
