  Early Hand Blown Bottles did not have distinctive shapes for contents,
 except for the square-based case bottles used for gin in the early 18th c.
  Early 19th c. bottles had a square bottom with a conical body;
 Late 19th c. bottles had a square bottom and a parallel-sided body (S. Van Wormer)
