Anthony's Indian School
Old Town, San Diego, 1994-2004
Mr. Gallegos, who owns his own CRM firm, Gallegos and Associates, spoke on his extensive archaeological work at the Aguirre Adobe site in Old Town, San Diego. He showed us a video his son put together of footage of the test trenching, test excavations, data recovery excavations, and grading monitoring at the Aguirre Adobe, which was also used as St. Anthony's Indian School in the late 19th century. Below are some pictures of the presentation. Dennis Gallegos Won the Conservation Heritage Award from the City of San Diego for his work at the Aguirre Adobe.
