NOTE:    It is in fact not necessary to convert LatLong data from the Trimble GeoExplorer II GPS Unit into Decimal Degrees.  The GPS files can be directly imported into ArcView 3.x and the conversion will be made automatically.  It is, however, a good exercise for the students.
