Special Parking Permit
Limitation Information

The Friends of the Palomar College Arboretum members may apply and purchase for a 1-year parking pass. The Special Parking Permit is optional with your Friends of the Palomar College Arboretum membership. $30 for the parking permit. You cannot be enrolled in any classes at Palomar College to purchase an annual special parking permit. (That includes both credit and zero unit classes.) Should you enroll in any classes in any given semester, you are required to return your Special Parking permit to the Palomar College Foundation Office and then purchase a Student Parking permit for that semester. If you are a Palomar College student and use the special parking permit on campus, it will be confiscated and you will be not allowed to have a parking permit for one year.

After becoming an Arboretum Member, fill-out the parking permit form and take it to the Palomar College Foundation Office. They will issue you a parking permit. The Foundation Office is located on the San Marcos Campus in Room A-4B.

The parking permit is good at both the Escondido and San Marcos Campuses.

You may not park in the Fitness Center parking spaces, special employee marked parking spaces, disabled parking spaces (unless you own a disabled placard), and please park in the l
egally designated spaces within a general parking lot.

  • No guarantee is expressed or implied as to the availability of parking at any time.
  • Permits are not transferable.
  • Resale of parking permits is prohibited.
  • Palomar shall consider no more than one (1) parking citation dismissal per calendar year in cases where a valid permit was obtained (prior to citation issuance) but not properly displayed.
  • You may not park in any space that displays a "Reserved" designation of any kind i.e. Distinguished Faculty Member of the Year, Classified Employee of the Year, Superintendent/President, etc.)
  • Do not park in designated "Visitor" spaces.
