Meets Saturdays from 8 am-12:00 pm
First class meeting: August 30, 2008
Materials:
Students are expected to purchase a thumb drive for backup purposes and are
responsible for backing up their files after each class session.
(Instructor assistance provided.) Files may not be saved to the local
computers in the lab as they will be deleted upon startup.
Files will be saved in a PDF format to your own personal storage device, a USB

The instructor will automatically drop a student who stops attending class on a
regular basis after the first day (except for students receiving veteran’s
benefits or financial aid).

Course Description:
The QuickBooks course (ACCT 109), will allow you to master the application of
accounting/bookkeeping principles working with real life “company books,” and
will include setting up and maintaining companies, as well as payroll, online
bill paying and banking, report generation and many other exciting features.
Employers require QuickBooks as a “must have” basic skill in today’s
technological accounting and bookkeeping workforce.
