Students are expected to purchase a thumb drive for backup purposes and are responsible for backing up their files after each class session.  (Instructor assistance provided.)  Files may not be saved to the local computers in the lab as they will be deleted upon startup.

Files will be saved in a PDF format to your own personal storage device, a USB or Flash Drive.  Minimum 512 MB.  Preferred 2GB.  www.computergeeks.com or www.newegg.com  are some good sites for computers and software and hardware.

The instructor will automatically drop a student who stops attending class on a regular basis after the first day (except for students receiving veteran’s benefits or financial aid).

See the calendar at www.palomar.edu for drop dates and deadlines.
