Computer Applications

Career training in state-of-the-art computer applications. Set up computer laboratory. Also function as staff trainer.

1987 – Present Palomar Community College – CIS Instructor

Serve as an Adjunct Faculty member for the ROP and CSIS Departments. Provide hands-on computer training to students in a variety of Windows applications. Courses include:

1990 – 1996 Pacific Data Products – Technical Support Representative

Instructed customers in the installation and use of network and printer enhancement products including print servers, optional I/O boards, printer memory, PostScript, HPGL, & PCL font cartridges. Beta Test Coordinator between beta sites & QA/Engineering. Assisted QA in testing pre-released products. Network OS support included Netware, Windows NT, Windows 95, & TCP/IP. Responded to customers’ technical questions via Internet, BBS and CompuServe.
