The Palomar College Governing Board adopted a resolution on
August 8, 2006 to request that the voters pass a $694
million proposition to maintain and modernize the 60 year
old college’s San Marcos campus and to create new
educational opportunities in under served areas of the
District. The basis for Proposition M is the Master Plan
2022, which was published in August 2003.
Proposition M was approved by the voters on November 7,
2006. The total proposition will be funded through the sale
of several series of bonds with the first series of bonds
being sold in May 2007 (Series A, 2007).
This website is dedicated to providing information to the
community regarding Proposition M construction projects,
citizens’ oversight of the proposition, and the various
business opportunities for vendors related to the
construction projects to be conducted in completion of
Master Plan 2022.
