Using
NetLibrary: Registering for Off-Campus Access
By creating a personal user account, you can access Palomar College's
collection of eBooks from off-campus locations, make a list of favorites, make
notes in individual eBooks, and customize your account preferences. There are no
membership/annual fees, maintenance costs or other charges associated with your
account. Follow the steps below to create an account:
- Go to www.netlibrary.com on a
computer located in the Palomar College library or elsewhere on campus.
- Click the Create a Free Account link located at the top right of
the screen.
- Enter a username using any combination of letters and/or numbers.
(Usernames are not case-sensitive.)
- Enter a password using at least six characters.
- Enter your email address.
- Select a security question from the drop down list and enter a personal
answer. You will need this information if you forget your username and/or
password.
- Click on Create Account. A message confirming the account has
been created is displayed, and you are returned to the NetLibrary Basic
Search page.
Once you have created an account, you will be able to go to the NetLibrary
website from any Internet-connected computer 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
