Films on Demand (Closed Captioned Collection) Open Database  Display Database Description
Films On Demand offers over 6,000 current, education streaming videos covering a variety of disciplines and subjects. Users can create personal playlists incorporating full-length videos or segments, and embed segments into courseware such as Blackboard. (NOTE: embedded videos only work with flash technology at this time, and will not work with Windows Media or Quicktime.) Some videos include interactive transcripts. Intelecom Open Database  Display Database Description
INTELECOM is a hosted digital repository of academic video clips - streamed on demand, covering a variety of video collections including Biological Sciences, Oceanography, History, Philosophy, Psychology, Political Science, Sociology, Health, and Environmental Studies. PBS Streaming Video Collection (Alexander Street Press) Open Database  Display Database Description
This collection contains over 400 PBS documentary films and series covering many educational disciplines, including history, science and technology, diversity studies, business, and current events. These include films from Frontline, NOVA, American Experience, Odyssey, and directors Ken Burns and Michael Wood.
Videatives Open Database  Display Database Description
Videatives is a streaming service of over 200 short video clips demonstrating scenarios in child development and education. Each video is accompanied by supporting, explanatory text. Together, the visual and textual documents map theory to practice, and generate theory from practice for students and practitioners through demonstrations of children's interactions with others and their environment.
