Pet of the Week: Big Mama

"BIG MAMA" was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society from another animal shelter through the FOCAS program. Why does RCHS call her Big Mama? That's not because of her size, but because she has a huge heart overflowing with love. She's been altered now, so her days of raising puppies are through. She'll do great in an active home where she can run and play and get lots of exercise.   

When you adopt Big Mama...Rancho Coastal Humane Society's adoptable pet of the week....you might want to change her name. Even though she's had puppies, those days are gone. She's ready to kick up her paws and enjoy life as a free-wheeling, family dog. Mama is a 3-1/2 year old, 60 pound, spayed, female, Hound / Boxer mix.      

"Mama" was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society through the FOCAS program. She's mellow and willing to do whatever her new family wants. That includes running, meeting new dogs at the dog park or beach, or just kicking back on the couch. As long as she has someone to love, and someone who loves her, Mama will be a happy dog.  

The $125 adoption fee for "Big Mama" includes medical exam, spay, up to date vaccinations, and microchip identification.
