English Writing Center

Writing Center comprises a computer classroom
and a drop-in computer lab
with Writing Consultants who can help your with your
writing assignments.
Learning Communities
Designed to deliver linked courses that create communities of
learners who develop a deeper commitment to learning and achieve
greater academic success than students who enroll in
“stand-alone” courses.
Math Learning Center
Free math tutoring or extra practice on
the computer.
STEM Center
Hub for STEM supplemental
instruction, tutoring, and workshops. Located in NS 312.
Teaching and Learning Center (TLC)
A multifunctional space for students and faculty to use and
exchange ideas. Students can ask questions, utilize
tutoring, counseling, or workshops. Located in Escondido.

Early Acceptance
Program (EAP)
For local graduating high school
seniors, get an early start to enrolling in college. Take
advantage of a face-to-face orientation, one-on-one advising,
and priority registration.
First Year Experience (FYE)
Provides a math summer bridge for
those placing into Math 15, embedded tutors in some courses, and
learning communities with math, English, reading, and
counseling. In connection with HSI/BSI.
Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM)
Designed to assist Palomar College in increasing the number of
STEM Bachelor's degrees. Provides supplemental
instruction, tutoring, and workshops. In connection with HSI.
Disability
Resource Center (DRC)
Services are available for students with physical,
learning, vision, hearing, communication and psychological
disabilities.
EOPS
Counseling services are available for California
residents who are economically, socially, and educationally
disadvantaged.
TRIO/SSS Program
Counseling services are available for
first-generation college students and/or low income
students and/or students with

Currently enrolled students who have paid their

ASG, academic, cultural, and interests clubs for

A place for veterans to meet other Veterans for peer
