10 Steps For Enrolling

Step 3 - APPLY FOR FINANCIAL AID

Palomar College offers several types of financial aid which are funded through federal, state and local agencies and the college, itself. For information on opportunities and eligibility and deadlines, go to the Financial Aid web site.

FAFSA can be completed online at www.fafsa.ed.gov to receive Grants, Federal Work Study, and Loans.  By completing the FAFSA, this takes care of the BOGW application.  Complete the Cal Grant application by March 2 for the first deadline and by September 2 for the second deadline.

Board of Governor's Waiver (BOGW) must be completed online through eServices by clicking on Apply for the BOG fee waiver under the Financial Aid area.

Scholarships are available at Palomar College.  To apply, look for the "Apply for Scholarships" link in eServices.  The link is only available during the application period for scholarships.

* Check your To Do List through eServices on the right hand side for financial aid forms that may be required to complete your financial aid process.  For additional information, go to the Financial Aid web site.
