MEDICAL LANGUAGE SPECIALIST program: one of the most comprehensive office support training programs in San Diego North County! The Medical Transcriptionist Program strives to meet the needs of students who are building basic skills, re-entering the workforce, changing careers, or retraining on current computer programs. Instruction emphasizes those skills needed for an entry-level medical transcription position with 192 hours of machines transcription focusing on a variety of medical reports. Students are encouraged to join the local chapter of the American Association of Medical Transcriptionists.
